Dr. Arun Surendran is a distinguished educator, technologist, and strategic thinker with a passion for innovation across education, technology, and sports. He currently serves as the Strategic Director and Principal of Trinity College of Engineering, Trivandrum, where he pioneered the concept of faculty entrepreneurship-empowering educators to be innovators and changemakers. A graduate of IIT Bombay, Dr. Arun went on to complete his Master's and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, where he was honored with the Eppright Outstanding International Student Award-the highest recognition awarded by the university to an international student. Dr. Arun is the Co-Founder of both Wattsun Football Academy and Blitz Sports Tech, two ventures that reflect his deep commitment to empowering youth through sports and technology. He is the Honorary Fellow for Robotics at Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), a Senior Fellow at Defence Research and Studies (DRaS), and a Core Group Member of the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission. He regularly mentors educators as a faculty trainer at the Madan Mohan Malaviya Teachers Training Center, Kerala University. ARUN S WATTSUN With a deep interest in preserving and promoting Indian heritage, Dr. Arun is also the Director of Agasthyam International Kalaripayattu and the Principal Investigator for the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Center for Kalaripayattu & Siddhar Tradition. His dedication to inclusive innovation is reflected in his advisory roles with the Innovation by Youth with Disabilities (IYwD) program at NISH and the Chinmaya Mission Schools. He is also a respected mentor to numerous civil service academies and educational institutions across India.
